De La Salle Medallion for Excellence (Students)

Each April, ÃÛÑ¿ÊÓƵ recognizes faculty, staff, and students with several prestigious Lasallian Awards, honoring these individuals for their commitment to the Catholic and Lasallian Mission and core values of the University. The Mission Recognition and Awards Committee of the Mission and Heritage Council is responsible for reviewing nominations from the University community and selecting honorees.

De La Salle Medallion for Excellence in the Promotion of Intentional Faith

The De La Salle Medallion for Excellence in the Promotion of Intentional Faith is awarded to a ÃÛÑ¿ÊÓƵ student who demonstrates excellence in promoting intentional personal faith among her/his peers through involvements, leadership opportunities, and conversations.

NOMINATION CRITERIA
An honoree will be a student who:

  • Participates regularly in faith development activities (prayer, bible studies, faith sharing groups) and leads them for others.
  • Shares his/her faith in inviting, enthusiastic, and accessible ways.
  • Invites others beyond their own circles of influence into experiences of faith.
  • Is recognized as someone with a personal, intentional faith commitment
