Published: June 15, 2024.

The John Stanicek solo exhibit of 10 sculptures and 40 drawings will be featured from June 20 to August 11 at the  on ÃÛÑ¿ÊÓƵ’s Romeoville Campus. The exhibit will be free and open to the public from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. daily.

Stanicek likes to explore those bold and striking shapes that first appeared in the industrial lexicon. These represent the bones and muscle of mechanical expression. Their basic shape and line build a bridge back to those origins. With combinations of surface, line, form and material, these works hold a primal link to clarity and a bold expression.
