Dr. James Tallon, professor of , recently published a book chapter titled "International Actors Intervening in a Local War: The Long World War I of the Eastern Mediterranean, 1911–23." The chapter appears in the edited volume "," published by Marine Corps University Press.

Dr. Tallon's chapter explores the complex interplay of international forces in the Eastern Mediterranean during the early 20th century, a period often overshadowed by the larger events of World War I.
