Peer Ministers

"Peer Ministry has not only allowed me to grow in my faith life but help others as well. Since starting in ministry, my faith life has grown a lot and I am a lot closer with God and happier with my faith life. Peer Ministry is not only a group of people who have a common goal, it is truly a family!"

- Nicole Reidy

As a Peer Minister, you will help foster the spiritual, emotional and social growth of resident students - meeting them where they are and inviting them to take steps of faith, including:

  • Helping residents grow as persons and as part of a community
  • Providing regular social events, service opportunities, and faith-sharing groups, or COGs (Community Outreach Groups), each semester to nurture community within a respective residence hall
  • Providing personal assistance to those in academic, emotional and spiritual need

A little about me: I am a Psychology and Theology major. I know how to ski and snowboard, which is a skill that comes in handy around December. This year in Peer Ministry, I want to create a community that welcomes all faiths and facilitates multiple backgrounds existing together. I believe it is important for people of all backgrounds, faith-based or not, to have the ability to peacefully exist together.

Get to know me: I am a Philosophy major. I have 18 siblings. My former hall peer was a great mentor for me, restoring my faith and getting back to building a relationship with God. I'm hoping that I could be valuable to others who are starting their journey with God.

Who am I?: I am an Aviation Flight Technology.I had 18 Guinea pigs. Through Peer Ministry, I wanted to keep making a difference in my community. It was the ministry here at ÃÛÑ¿ÊÓƵ that really made an impact on my faith. I wanted to be a part of that and continue to plant that seed into people who haven't necessarily had the chance to explore their faith.

A little about me: I am a Marketing Major. Turn on screen reader support. I want to invite everyone to Peer Ministry. It's a great way to create a community with a strong base in faith for incoming students to chill and meet other people that might be like minded and I will be part of creating that community.

Aaron Hill Community Peer Minister Get to know me: I'm a licensed certified deep water scuba diver!! I am studying international business. I grew up in the church. I knew of Jesus and God, but never had a true relationship with him. There were tons of hard questions I had and I couldn't find an answer. I thought just being in church was enough. I'm hoping to help people answer those hard questions and tackle the tough conversations. The Bible can be tough to navigate and I'm hoping to stir people's hearts and encourage myself to dive deeper.

Who I am: I am a senior nursing major! I had tear duct surgery when I was a baby. It all went very well. Peer Ministry has been such a huge part of my formation at ÃÛÑ¿ÊÓƵ! The least I can do is give back a sliver of the goodness I have received. I can’t wait to see so much of the Lord's heart in service!

A few things about me: I am a Data Science major. I love solving complex data problems—except when it comes to choosing a movie to watch! As a Graduate Peer Minister, I strive to build a welcoming and supportive community where students can grow in faith, friendship, and service. When I’m not mentoring, I’m a data wizard, building predictive models and AI agents that bring data to life.

A little about me: I like drawing in my free time & I love green tea. I am a biology student. I didn't understand growing up why it was important to have a relationship with God, but when I got saved, I realized why. And now I want to be able to help those who are wanting to have a relationship but are struggling. The sidewalk ministry is the perfect God opportunity. Also just being able to show love to those who find it intimidating because they don't understand it.
